Meet Your Nurse Practitioner
My name is Amanda Gunter and I am an AANP board-certified family nurse practitioner (NP). I began my career in the nursing field in 2003 as a registered nurse (RN). My RN experience includes cardiovascular, cardiology, neuro ICU, medical ICU, long-term acute care, and teaching. I completed my Master’s degree in science with a certification as a nurse practitioner in 2013 at the University of North Georgia. I graduated with distinction and was inducted into the honor society of Phi Kappa Phi. My NP experience includes family medicine, internal medicine, urgent care, and interventional pain. I have a passion for disease prevention, chronic disease management to prevent complications, and patient education. My goal is to work with patients to help them achieve their optimal state of health.

Meet Your Medical Assistant
My name is Ashley Hickman and I am a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA). I graduated from the University of North Georgia (UNG) with an Associate’s Degree in Heath Science in 2009. I then earned my Certification for Medical Assisting from Athens Technical College in 2011. I have been working front and back office as a Certified Medical Assistant in Internal Medicine and Family Practices since 2011. My goal is to be your advocate and work along side our nurse practitioner to help give you the quality healthcare you deserve.
